How we handle your data.

Badger Digital Studio is the trading name of Badger Digital Studio Ltd, a software studio registered in England and Wales (company number 17500044, registered office 9 Primley Court, Waterleat Road, Paignton, TQ3 3UH) and run by Adam Jennings. This privacy policy covers badgerdigitalstudio.co.uk, badgerdigitalstudio.com and calls to our studio number. If you have any questions, email enquiry@badgerdigitalstudio.co.uk.

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site, answer the phone and respond to enquiries:

• Chat messagesyou send via the AI assistant are processed to generate a reply (see “Third parties” below). They are not stored by us beyond the lifetime of your conversation.
• Your IP address is read briefly to apply rate limits and prevent abuse. It is stored only as a daily request counter and automatically deleted after 24 hours.
• Anything you choose to email us at enquiry@badgerdigitalstudio.co.uk is stored in our inbox and used only to reply to you.
• Phone calls to 01803 224250are recorded and transcribed. See “Phone calls to the studio” below for what that involves.

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or tracking pixels. We do not sell, rent, or share your data.

Our studio number, 01803 224250, is answered by Brock, an AI receptionist we built. Brock tells you at the start of the call that calls are recorded.

• What is kept: a recording and a transcript of the call, the number you called from, and whatever you tell Brock about who you are and what you need.
• Why: to deal with your enquiry. The details are sent to Adam by text message and email, and a call-back task is raised in our CRM. Unsolicited sales calls are ended politely and nothing is kept from them.
• How long: recordings and transcripts are kept only for as long as we need them to follow up with you and check the quality of the agent, then deleted. Email enquiry@badgerdigitalstudio.co.uk if you would like a recording deleted sooner.
• Who processes it: Vapi runs the call and the speech and language services behind it, including Anthropic, and processes audio in the United States. Twilio carries the phone line. Supabase hosts our CRM, where the recording and transcript are stored in the EU (Frankfurt).

To run this website, the chat assistant, the phone line and our security, we use:

• Vercel hosts the website. Their privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Anthropic powers the AI assistant via the Claude API, and the language model behind our phone agent. Your chat messages, and what is said on calls, are sent to Anthropic to generate responses. Their privacy policy: anthropic.com/legal/privacy
• Vapi runs the phone agent: the call audio, speech recognition and voice. Their privacy policy: vapi.ai/privacy
• Twilio provides the phone number and carries the call. Their privacy policy: twilio.com/legal/privacy
• Supabase hosts our CRM database and stores call recordings and transcripts in Frankfurt. Their privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy
• Cloudflare Turnstile protects the chat from bot abuse. To do this, Cloudflare collects information about your browser and connection. See the Turnstile product page and the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. Cloudflare's collection is governed by their Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
• Upstash stores the daily IP rate-limit counter. Their privacy policy: upstash.com/trust/privacy

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you believe we've mishandled it.

This website does not set cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie related to the Turnstile bot challenge. Without this, the chat would not be able to verify you're a real visitor.
